Bassella Motorcycle Museum
Sanctuary of the Motards
At the foot of the C-14 road between the villages of Ponts, Oliana and 20 km from Solsona, the Bassella Motorcycle Museum opens up to the traveller in a space of more than 1000 metres, dedicated to the world of motorcycles and has become a European reference point for motor lovers and vital stop wherever you come from and wherever you go, halfway through Andorra.
Mario Soler, the soul of the museum and father of Estanislau and Toni Soler, professional motorcycle riders in the 60s and 70s, managed to restore more than 190 national and international motorcycle models, from the most rudimentary models to the present day.
The building of Bassella Motorcycle Museum, built with stones and materials from the village of Bassella, disappeared in the year 2000 under the waters of the Rialb swamp, forms a set of services at the km 134 of the regional road C-14, with Service Station, Bar Restaurant, Shop and the Museum.
