Sant Llorenç de Morunys and Port del Comte
Nature and countryside in its purest form
To discover the north of Solsonès is to enter the Vall de Lord, walk through the narrow streets of Sant Llorenç de Morunys (the second most important village in the region) or see the source of the river Cardener, near La Coma i la Pedra. There are several places to explore that will amaze you.
The Lord sanctuary is a good spot to take a walk and enjoy the monastic solitude of its community and the landscape of the Llosa del Cavall reservoir, the Sierra dels Bastets, Busa and the Cardener valley.
Further north, we find the impressive ski resort of Port del Comte, a paradise for snow sports and many others such as hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. On the way to Solsona you can visit the picnic area of Coll de Jou and the viewpoint of the Creu del Codó.
